  6. I. Installation
  7.  
  8.   To install Roids, copy the ROIDS.EXE and the ROIDS.HLP files to your 
  9. games subdirectory.  (I.E. C:\OS2\GAMES)  Create an object for Roids using 
  10. the Program template.  Activate the Program tab in the Settings notebook 
  11. for the new object, and under "Path and file name:" enter the path and 
  12. filename of Roids (I.E. C:\OS2\GAMES\ROIDS.EXE).  Under "Working directory"
  13. enter your games subdirectory (I.E. C:\OS2\GAMES).  
  14. That's all there is to it.

  16. II. Troubleshooting
  17.  
  18.   If Roids starts behaving strangely or stops working, there are a few 
  19.   things you can try:
  20.  
  21.   A.  In the Options menu, press the Defaults button.  This resets the 
  22.       ROIDS.INI file.
  23.  
  24.   B.  If that fails, delete the ROIDS.INI file.  The file will be 
  25.       recreated next time you run Roids.
  26.       
  27.       BE CAREFUL!  If your copy of Roids is registered, make sure you write 
  28.       down your name and User ID EXACTLY as they appear in the Product 
  29.       information window.  Once the ROIDS.INI file has been deleted, Roids 
  30.       will think that it hasn't been registered.  Enter your name and 
  31.       User ID in the Register dialog and all will be well.

  33.   C.  And if THAT fails, ROIDS.EXE is probably corrupted.  Re-install it 
  34.       from the .ZIP file or get another copy somehow.
